Shoreline Design LLC was formed in early 2005 and immediately purchased Lake Anna Dock and Pile Corporation, managed by Gerald Kilmer. Mr. Kilmer trained the partners and employees on the use of the equipment and the techniques he had learned in 25 years of marine construction. Mr. Kilmer has since retired but frequently comes to the lake to check the equipment, inspect our work, and offer his insight on difficult projects.

Shoreline Design has completely re-fitted both 12’X36’ barges with new outboard drive engines and completely overhauled both Shaver pile drivers including new hydraulic power units. Our hammers are now capable of 71,000 lbs impact force on full stroke. Our quick change hammer sleds allow us to quickly remove the drive equipment and deck load our long reach excavator and mud tub for dredging work. We have the best maintained, largest and heaviest marine construction equipment on the lake. This translates into safety for our employees, and quality and speed for our customers.

Shoreline Design has an on-staff marine engineer to tackle difficult structural projects and assure that our field work will exceed design requirements and will remain in place with-out failures for a very long time. We use CADD to create our drawings so our customers can clearly understand the scope and details of the project before they commit to a contract.

Our goal is to provide the best marine construction projects and services at very competitive prices.
